The standard hourly rate is just £24 an hour. The first hour is charged in full and then further hours are rounded down (yes, down!) to the nearest half hour. If the problem isn't resolved there will be no charge. Initial consultations in most cases are free of charge. Services can be carried out in your home or business or alternatively I offer a free collect and return service in most cases.

This is the PC Happy 60 point health check, service and tune-up. A PC health check often just means a few basic checks that don't take very long. The most important thing everyone should do with their computer is back it up. This is a full backup service for a fixed fee of £29 for a normal desktop or laptop computer. If your require a back up for more than one computer at once a discount can be agreed. You can have your data backed up to DVDs or to an external hard drive. I will discuss the options with you beforehand and can purchase the disks or hard drive if required. As well as a one off back up I will explain in simple terms how you can perform your own back-ups in future.
If you are moving from one PC to another or maybe from a desktop computer to a laptop computer you won't want to lose your data. The data transfer service copies your pictures, videos, documents and anything else from your old computer to your new one. Just like all the other services this can be done in your own home.
When you buy a new PC it can be a bit daunting. For just £39 I can come to your house and set it up for you. This doesn't just mean plug it in and turn it on. I will run though the initial set-up procedure and make sure you are connected to your Internet connection. I will also make sure you have all the software you need to browse the net safely and securely. It is also important you have all the latest system updates on your computer so your PC will be fully updated as well.
If your PC has major problems sometimes the best way of fixing it is to perform a full re-install. This can be carried out on site and the service includes getting you fully back up and running with everything you need. You won't lose any data during the process, it will all be copied back to the newly installed computer. Just like a standard PC first time installation you will be re-connected to your Internet connection and be fully secure and you system software will be fully updated. This service can take upto 6 hours and it can be done on-site or I can collect and return your computer free of charge.
If you have just had broadband Internet installed for the first time or maybe just moved house I can get you connected and surfing. I will also make sure you have all the security software you need to be you are safe on the net.

The initial consultation is free and you will be charged only for the parts and the time required to install the components, at the normal hourly rate.
Any problem you have with your computer or network or any IT hardware or software can be fixed. The service will be charged at the normal hourly rate. In the unlikely event that I can't fix your problem you won't be charged for any work already carried out.
