New Website

So the new PC Happy website is finally ready. Hopefully everybody will like it, it took quite a long time to get it looking how I wanted it. I can recommend a couple of free programs that I used to make the site. The first is HTML-Kit which is a free text editor that is great for writing html and css. The second program is GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) this is like a free version of Photoshop. It doesn’t have all the features of Photoshop but is brilliant for a free open source program.

I tried to get the website looking modern and fresh, while trying to stay as simple and easy to navigate as possible. Feel free to comment on the new site it would be great to get some feedback. The new website also sees the unveiling of this blog. I hope to use this to keep people up to date on what is happening in the world of IT and gadgets, as well as posting PC Happy special offers, news and other site updates.

  4. Honestly, the font size of your header, the one that says “Make your pc happy today…..”, is so big. If you don’t mind, I suggest that you edit its font size, make it smaller. :)

    But… as a whole your site is really cool, very presentable and informative.

  6. The site looks too simple for me. And I agree that your header is too big. The site looks fresh but not too fresh and i dont quite get your idea of a modern look on the site. It doesnt look modern to me. Well thats jut my thoughts though. Other than that Id say its OK.

  9. Great site. Good job on the design. Hope everything works out fine. Although I’d have to agree with everyone else that your header is lil bit off. A few adjustments could fix that. XD

  10. This is actually a really nice design. I’m a HUGE fan of minimal design, and the colors in the header and background go nicely together. The font used in the right of the header is a very nice touch as well, gives it a unique feel. Cheers mate, job well done!

  12. I agree with some of the other commenters – the header is quite large. But other than that, I must compliment you on the design; nice job.

    I find GIMP to be brilliant too; I use it for all of my web design work.
